Buckling Down For the Artic Blast

I got up early this morning and got everything done outside that needed to be done and now I am glad that I did. My oldest daughter called and said that she was all cleared to meet me in Baton Rouge tomorrow (Sat.). We had planned this a couple of weeks ago, but I suggested that she wait a couple of weeks more past her Covid to not chance exposing or passing it to me and also at the nursing home. She will be meeting me to go see her grandmother (my mom) who is in the nursing home. She hasn't seen her since Christmas before last. I will be getting up early again tomorrow to meet her in Baton Rouge. She will have her two kids with her and is planning on trying to hit the zoo on the way back home. I'm not sure if I will be up to that or not, but I'll try! It's always fun to spend time with the grandkids! Photo Credit: Pixabay, Public Domain

I hope your daughter is doing a lot better, after experiencing Covid. Have fun at the zoo and spending time with the grandkids:)

I'm glad you can meet your daughter tomorrow. I know you'll love seeing her and your grandchildren. It's so good she can accompany you to see your mother. I hope you can go to the zoo tomorrow. I understand if it's too much.
