I asked the roommate.
She replied she was going to cook this thing in the freezer, something about "street corn." I think it means that it is frozen product that is flavored like the roasted corn you can get from food trucks.
"You can't have it," she said. (Yeah, I know.) "I just... I don't know what I'd do if I had your food allergies."
Yeah, I have to agree, having these darned food allergies isn't either easy or fun.
So, do you have allergies to food or food intolerances? The roomie's brother-in-law is allergic to sea food and eggs, those are pretty hard as well. My geek friend is allergic to nightshade food. Both of their reactions are life threatening. Mine just want to make me die!

I'm sorry to hear that, do you have trouble with other legumes? I am sensitive to legumes, but I can eat them in rotation. I didn't eat peanuts for years, but now I can handle peanut butter - so I eat chocolate peanut butter.
I've known others with IBS and, yeah, they have trouble with foods with high fiber too. Since I have a lot of various reactions to food, I try to rotate them.
My worst reactions tend to be with meats, so I really work to keep track of their rotation. However, I haven't been eating well since my wife went into the hospital in November, and I don't think I've had any pork since October. I have to be extra careful with pork because of the interaction of pork and black pepper. I pretty much only eat it if we've cooked it at home.

@ElicBxn I have no problems with other legumes, some beans make me feel bloated, but that's the only problem they give me.
I have no known problems with meats, fish and shellfish, but I cannot eat some cheese, like Brie or Camembert, I am fine with aged cheese like Parmesan.
