West Bengal in India is famous for agriculture. There is a concept of cover farming in the state. Potatoes and sweet potatoes are grown side by side. This is a form of cover farming. While the vegetables grow well in this style of farming the fertility and utility of the soil also remains intact.

thanks Judy in cover farming principle crop is repeated everywhere. For example potato. But the other crop is shuffled like sweet potato then cauliflower then carrot
