A practical joker who was in attendance on Wednesday evening during the screening of "The Batman" movie at the Cinepolis Theater in Austin Texas made news when he brought in a live bat into the theater and released the animal that flew around inside of the venue scaring members of the audience who thought that the flying creature was part of the show.
Annelise Holyoak who is an official of Cinepolis called animal control to do what they could to get the real life bat out of the theater while the film was stopped and the lights were on until the bat flew away from the theater through an emergency exit with no one being harmed.
Officials inside of the theater offered refunds to the moviegoers if they decided to leave the theater due to the bat scare.
Only a few moviegoers took up the offer to take the refund "The Batman" movie that stars Robert Pattinson as the hero of the movie left the building since Batman has universal appeal.

I guess the prankster wanted some free publicity for himself.

That is true since it is one thing to admire the Batman character but it does not give any of us a license to use a live bat inside of a theater.

@kareng I know what you mean that a so called Batman fan would stoop so low to bring a live cat into a theater.

I guess that would scare people. They can carry disease too.

I know what you mean I know there are laws against yelling "Fire" in crowded place. Bringing in a live bat is uncalled for,

I agree with you since being a fan of a fictional hero does not give any of us a license to release a live bat inside of a theater.

That was a stupid thing to do and I am glad no one including the bat was injured,

I know what you mean since a few years ago a gunman shot and killed a few movie goers who were watching the Christian Bale version of Batman in Colorado.

I agree with you since a fan of a fictional character never tries to scare a movie goer with a live bat inside of a theater.
