The Sioux Indian chief, Chief Big Bear, was talking to his young son, about fighting, self-defence, and war.
Here is what he said:
"A man of no vision, fights in his blindness. We do not want war, nor fighting. We want peace to exist at all times."
"A fighting man has left the centre of himself to live on one of his extremities instead. This leads him to unbalanced actions."
"The Holy land is everywhere, and we should never take it from itself."
"Our Earth is the mother of us all, and so we all should have equal rights to every part of it. No man should try to own any of it for himself."
"All war is a form of stealing. We want peace and love. We do not want to take what belongs to another man."
"A warring man chases new riches, and has abandoned his peace, and love, so he steals them from others, through his warring. "
"War sits in the bottom of the heart of your madness, and only rises up when it is fueled by the madness of your mind."
"Madness matches madness then."
"But, when you allow love to stay within you, any madness is placed aside in you, and love always is allowed to extinguish any fires of madness that arises."
"All war is a crime against peace."
"Remember my words, oh, my son. Keep them close to your heart, at all times."

I like that. All war is a crime against peace. That is so true.

Thanks. Some might say that war is sometimes necessary, but it is not. War is always a crime against peace.

@innertalks I totally agree. War is not necessary. Ever. People can resolve their differences by debate rather than warfare.

@sharonelton Yes. We are not animals that need to fight things out over territory disputes. We should resolve all tensions peacefully, through dialogue, and negotiation.

War is against humanity, creation, and our creator himself.
They are led by ego, greed, and selfish pursuits luring others who are mostly innocent.
It becomes blind hatred when one is forced to kill another who we hardly know but have similar human traits that yearn for peace and love.
We need a Chief Big Bear to hold our hand at all times as Chief Small Bears wreak havoc from time to time!

Thanks, siva.
The sad part in this present Ukraine war, though, is that some of the soldiers, are fighting against relatives of themselves, if what we are hearing is true.
Yes, it is all senseless destruction, of life, structure, and limb.
The Chief Big Bear, of Russia, wants to look bigger, but is yet to realise that all this war is doing is making him look smaller.
He is becoming unbearable, and browning people off, with his bullying.
He is now worse than the Kamchatka Brown Bear, of Russia, a large bear, which is becoming endangered, but this other Russian bear, named Putin, is becoming endangerous!

@Shiva49 Ukraine is so far ahead of Russia in its ideology, no wonder that they want to keep it, go ahead with it, and not be forced back into such a restrictive dictating ideology as which the Russians suffer from still.

@innertalks Yes Steve, Russians are just like us trying to find a peaceful life but one chief bear is trying to impose his will on the rest.
I am at a loss to understand a dated ideology is used to subjugate people in this modern world where everyone thirsts for peace and freedom.
