More Mistakes!

I am tired of mistakes being made in our dealings with housing on this rug replacement issue. We recently(March 1 to be exact)had carpeting in my daughter's bedroom replaced by housing due to one of our cats scratching at my daughter's door incessantly and causing a badly warn spot in the rug. This finally was all taken care of after a previous appointment that had been made and we didn't have the entire room vacated so they couldn't do it and we had to reschedule. We had a disagreement with housing maintenance because they hadn't told us they were replacing the entire rug in that room. Said nothing about it, just that the area around the warn spot needed to be clean and void of any furniture. They said they had spoken to me on the phone(they had) and set up a new appointment(they had not). They also said they had put a notification on our door which we never got. So, now today (two weeks on into the month) we get a notification from some Project Operations Coordinator that gives us a totally different amount owing on this rug replacement. I called the landlady/housing rep and explained both totals to her. She will talk to the POC in the next day or so. I am not upset but sort of disgusted with them right now. I have mental issues and can take care of this situation better than they are. We've had to reschedule because the maintenance people not doing their job correctly and now the amount due can't be agreed upon by housing. Come on people! ( I should just go ahead and pay the amount this new person has given me since it is less) Yes, I do appreciate our Section 8. I am saying nothing derogatory about Section 8, just at the way in which this particular situation is being handled. I am just perturbed and just ranting.
