I had a thought

I was wondering if there was a need in my town for someone who can help local people with their peritoneal dialysis. I hate to have all that training I got in 2016 go to waste. I heard at one point there was a guy who would do it, and it isn't like I want to do it as a job. It is just that I did do it for 5 years for my wife. I think I'll consider it over the weekend. If I still think it is a good idea, I'll contact the clinic...

I think that the best should be to contact the clinic (or the hospital) and let them know that you are available to help.

@LadyDuck well, the hospitals have people who do it for them, and I don't want a 'real' job, and I don't want to have to learn how to do hemo... and I'm not a nurse, I'm just trained to do this kind of dialysis.

That's what I'm thinking. I know I needed some down time when I was doing it every night. I don't know if other people are doing it themselves or not. I know at one point when I was wanting to go out of town and my back up was still forbidden to drive, I wasn't sure I was going to be able to do it, but then she went in the hospital... last November... The closest she came to coming home was the foot of the driveway... she went back... that was just before Christmas.
