World Meteorological Day is Today!!!

Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. I came to know that today, 23rd March is celebrated as "World Meteorological Day" since 1961. The World Meteorological Organization created this day on 23rd March, 1950 so that people are made aware of daily weather reports for their own wellbeing. The organisation announces a slogan every year and this year it's theme is "Early Warning and Early Action". Back in the day, people had to struggle a lot to get information about weather changes. Now , due to advanced technology, we can get a 5 day forecast of weather report on our mobiles. It's significance is great as we all can plan our whole days by looking at the forecast. The disaster warnings are known before hand because of weather forecast hence corrective measures can be taken to evacuate or shift people from disaster site. It helps in tracking of climate damage too in different places. Technology has made our lives so easy and convenient apart from its vices. Happy Meteorological Day to everyone here. Have a good day!!
