Hormones is causing me to feel annoyed and highly emotional nowadays. In fact, yesterday, I was being a grinch so I stayed away from mylot and decided not to spend too much time chatting with people or I might end up in an argument. I went out with my son, but I left him in the salon. He had a great time with his stylist who hardly recognized him anymore because of his tanned skin from cycling. Went off to do some shopping and boy that felt good. Shopping therapy is the best! And I'm talking about actually going to a mall. Online shopping doesn't give me the same kind of therapy.

I used to like shopping more than I do now. With covid here I wear a mask when I go out but I like even less shopping online.

Even with the mask on, I enjoy shopping. in fact I am a bit grateful that I could wear mask coz I can't deal bumbling into people wearing perfumes. I am allergic to synthetic fragrances and it's impossible not to smell any when you're at a mall.

@toniganzon Actually masks might have prevented us from catching colds and flu.

@RubyHawk That to. That's why I'm not doing away with the masks when I'm in public enclosed places like the mall. I would do away with it if I'm at the beach.

I understand very well, I like online shopping, but to relax I need to go out, go to the Mall and have a real shopping experience.

Yes! Nothing beats the real shopping experience. To be able to touch stuff is therapeutic than just watching them virtually from your home.

@toniganzon I agree, there is not the same satisfaction looking online, touching what we see is so much better.

Window shopping works too sometimes but could be frustrating when you see something you want but couldn't get.

Good thing that you know how to cure your mood swings. For some, they do not realize that they are in a mood swing and they just let those emotions flow out to whoever they meet or interact with. But you were aware of it and try to control it and do something that will make you feel better.

I can't simply vent on anybody else. And I don't want to hurt people. It's best to deal with it by finding something that can make you happy. My mom vented on us when she was having menopausal symptoms but then she discovered that crafting actually eased her mind and she would do that whenever she was moody.

I suppose shopping would be good therapy, especially when you are buying new clothes.

Definitely. but I don't really care much what I buy as long as I'm out and about and enjoying being in a real world than mostly talking to people online.

LOL. My husband says that shopping is the one thing that instantly improves my mood, although I'm always likely to deny that. I do agree that shopping in an actual mall is far better than online shopping. I like to touch and hold the actual thing and examine it before I decide to purchase it or not.

I do online shopping almost everyday for things that aren't available in this city or stuff that I could purchase only from another country. Other than that, I mostly prefer to go shopping in actual stores.

@toniganzon I wish there's a store nearby that sells all the stuff that I like, including Hobonichi and Stalogy notebooks. That's wishful thinking for now. But I'm OK with what I have.
