Happiness doesn't happen to you, it is what you choose!!!

Hi guys,
Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. I came across this beautiful quote which is so true in life.
Happiness really doesn't happen in life, we need to choose it from different facets of our life or from others.
Many a times in life, things don't go our way and we don't think anything in our life is giving us happiness. At that time, if we try helping others and finding happiness in others life, we will get good satisfaction.
Spreading happiness in other people's lives is another way to feel happiness in our life as well. Let's share as much as we can by helping others, spread happiness around us and in the process, receive happiness and satisfaction as well.

I agree.
We can't be happy unless we know we're making others happy.
Your picture makes me happy by reminding me that--even if it doesn't echo 'how you feel RIGHT THIS SECOND'--there IS happiness to be found

I agree on one good thing about happiness is that it's contagious in a good way. It should definitely rub off well.

How about love, or God?
Does love, or God happen to us, or are they both something that we choose too?
I would put happiness in the same category, as love, or God.
Is happiness a part of the love in us, and so it bubbles out of us if we do not block it with thoughts, so choosing not to block love, allows love to be itself in us, and only in this way are we ever truly happy?
Our mind is powerful, and it can block our heart from living its inbuilt happiness, but happiness itself is not a choice, (to me then) but a state of the livingness of love being itself in you.
God is always happy because of his love too, which is always fully actively alive in God too.
