Should children get the covid-19 vaccine or not?

Currently, children over 12 years of age have been vaccinated with the covid-19 vaccine. In the near future, children between the ages of 5 and 12 will also be urged to get vaccinated. I really wouldn't give my kids injections. Because they are too young. And this vaccine is too new. How do you think?

Here too. I consulted with a number of leading doctors, and most of them advised against getting the covid-19 vaccine.

@tkonlinevn Swiss doctors are against the vaccine for young kids, I heard that also Italian doctors suggested to wait because we still know too little about this vaccine.

I think it depends on the local epidemic situation of the child. If the epidemic is serious, it's better to have an injection. If not, I don't think it's necessary. Totally agree with your thought.

Frankly, this is a tough question. I totally understand your concerns. I think nowadays Omicron seems to be less harmful. If it is not a must for children to get vaccinated in your country, and you decide not to let your children get vaccinated, then remember to ask them to do precautions well.

I also think that the new strain will not cause much harm especially to children, who have better immune systems than adults. Therefore, children with no underlying medical conditions should not be vaccinated.

In my own opinion i thinks it is not advisable to inject those young kids with anti covid vaccines. All those wont work and why do the childrens need to suffer as well. Anyway its individuals choice and i respect what are your choices that may feel and make you comfortable with especially on protecting your family against the virus. Keep safe everyone.

I respect your opinion but sometimes taking those vaccines is like having an assurance that they will be somewhat be safe from the virus. Especially if one of the people at your house is regularly going out. Again, I respect your opinion because we also don't know the possible effects of the vaccine to the young ones.

I find the covid-19 vaccine has too many side effects and has not been well studied when used in children.

I actually think children should be vaccinated as well. The benefits outweigh the risks.

Most of your kids were fully vaccinated now. I think there are no other options for them with this current situation.

I don't have any idea. Here kids age between 12-14,yrs old are getting vaccinated. In future they might introduce for smaller age group. How good or effective it is that will know in future. Have a good weekend. Take care
