I woke up to the Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

I took my nap with the TV on (nothing much to watch) and I woke up with the cutest chimpanzee ever. So I more started to watch it and I learned a bit more about how mean human beings are. At the end the apes were free from their cages and in some woods. But I knew that they were outnumbered and would finally be defeated. It is a science fiction movie and maybe it is for kids. But I think about all the extermination of plants and animals we do every day, I think that the giant Amazon forest is less that 1/3 of what it was years ago and that native trees that take thousands of years to grow are turned into chips. We are a bad kind of beings. There are some of us who don´t harm the planet. I remember once reading a letter from an American Native chief to a white authority. I will have to watch something lighter now. This depressed me.
