You see the term "cold-blooded" quite often when reading(or watching docs)about serial killers but, this guy takes the cake. Keyes was born in January of 1978 in Utah. He lived with ten siblings and parents in a one-room cabin and went to a white supremacist Christian identity ideology type church(look it up). He finally left home at age 14 when he told his father he was an atheist. He killed for the first time in Oregon between 1996 and 1998 and, went on to kill at least 10 others. He served in the army from 1998 to 2001. He never married but had a daughter and a long-time girlfriend. He robbed and burglarized 20 to 30 homes across the country and robbed several banks between 2001 and 2012. He traveled across the U.S. and Mexico leaving "kill kits" in as many as five to seven states. These kits were in Home Depot buckets and comprised of slip ties, burial tools, guns, ammo, cash, rope, tape, cash, and Drano(used to accelerate human decomposition). He would travel to one state by plane or car, frequent parks and cemeteries among other places, find a victim, and plan his kill using one of the kill kits he had buried nearby. After raping and killing his victim he would travel to another state to bury the body. He would turn his cell phone off during these times and only use cash. He was apprehended on March 13, 2012, and was scheduled to stand trial in March 2013. When asked why he killed these people he merely stated: "Why not?!" He also said that he enjoyed the adrenaline rush and said he just did what he wanted to do. He also said that he idolized Ted Bundy for his efficiency. He read "The Mind of the Hunter" and meticulously studied other serial killers. FBI agents were fascinated with Keyes because he didn't fit any of the norms of a serial killer. He had no "type". While awaiting trial he committed suicide in his cell on December 1, 2012. Picture from Google.

It's just a matter of time in most cases. The lost lives make me gag. How these horrors can not have any feeling for the pain they are inflicting and really seem to enjoy it.

@celticeagle They don’t have any feelings. I read a book about serial killers an this psychiatrist pointed that these killers learned early to act like a normal person but they actually had no feelings for anyone but themselves.
