I don't remember when I met the guy. He was so nice to me. I remember he would take me out for strawberry pie after work and I guess I enjoyed the attention he gave me. I had other friends on the lots and even went through one boyfriend already before I met this guy. He owned one of the joints(like a tent where the games are in the carnival part of the fair)and I finally went to work for him after much persuasion. His joint was on the other side of the lot from where I had been and where all my friends were. Again, it was a big lot. He had the best black beauties I had ever had too. (Fused together and big) I remember one night before I went to work I had taken a black beauty or two and went and layed down on the lawn close to where the joint was located. Feeling all the speed rush through my body. I loved that feeling. The joint I worked in was shabby and not near as nice as the ones on the other side but I loved getting the free beauties and even had a place to stay. He never made a pass at me or made me feel uncomfortable. He treated me so nicely and took me places, fed me, paid for my room. At some time after I had worked for him probably a few weeks my ex-boyfriend, Ed came to see me. This was odd since we hadn't spoken for quite a while. He had turned out to be a jerk and not someone I wanted to spend any more time with so I broke up with him a month or so before. So, he asked to speak to me privately and we walked over away from the joints. He looked me square in the eyes and told me that he had overheard this guy making plans to take me over the border into Mexico and sell me to a sex trafficker. At first, I didn't believe him. A lot of disbelief but, it finally came through to me that he was telling me the truth and telling me to get out NOW. I moved faster than I had in a while back to the other side of the lot. I was so scared for several days after and my friends were wonderful to me. I still think about Ed sometimes and I am so thankful that he did what he did. He didn't have to either. But, thank the gods that he did.
