In the summers extra watering is required for green lawns.

I spend my time in holi in Wedlock Greens with my mother wife and two sons. Summer has set in. The vast area of green lawns now require more watering. The grasses are trimmed at regular intervals. I loved to run and walk on the green grass bare foot in the morning.

Plus we seem to have an earlier onset of summers.
It's already close to 40 C and we need to get the AC serviced as well.
Walking bare foot on green grass is very comforting.

Oh that is very high humidity.
We have that during the more humid months of July and August.

I quit watering my lawn several years ago to conserve water and to skip all the fertilizer and maintenance. I water garden beds and the fruit trees out back. I have a small area of grass that I care for with water in the backyard.

thanks vikingswest yes if your lawn has a lot of grass then it will consume a lot of water

We are heading in to winter so we won't need to water as much soon.
