I´m half up and half in bed after my procedure. The cheek hurts and the eye is swollen. The doctor even said not to worry if I later had a black eye. I tried to use the laptop in bed but I discovered that I needed to be up if I did not want too many stomach problems due to the antibiotic. The procedure was longer than what I had thought and the doctor said that the "bad cells" had taken up a big piece of the cheek. I now have stitches and several gauzes over it. I cannot wash my face until next week when I have my first control. Then, if all goes well, they will take away half of the stitches. We could not go to the Arab restaurant with Camila as all this took too long and she had work during the evening. She won´t be able to take me to the hospital next week either so I think I´ll just take a cab and if I feel dizzy after whatever the doctor has to do, I´ll sit at the hospital until I can come home.
