Up with the Dogs / myLot

Good morning my myLot friends. I was up at pee o'clock this morning and took care of the dogs to allow the missus to sleep in. With Ace, it was easy. He is quiet. Sophie, however, wants to play and won't settle down after breakfast. She wants to go outside and chase balls. If I want K to get some extra rest, I guess I'll have to take the baby outside in the yard. Don't worry, to paraphrase McArthur and Ahnold - I shall be back.

Our dogs are used to our M-F routine and don't understand weekends.

I guess you are looking forward to the days when Sophie wants to sleep in. I know some people who just got a young dog, and it is a real change for their households because all they have had is 3 cats who stay to themselves. I wonder what the cat thinks?

Freckles wanted out, especially in the winter, only “when necessary.” Goldie, on the other hand, would love to go out and sit on the back steps at 3 AM for no good reason. What are we gonna do with ‘em? (Hug ‘em, love ‘em, give ‘em belly rubs and kisses….that’s what I always did with mine!)
