There is talk of a second wave of covid. Now the CDC says wear your mask in public indoor places vaccinated or not vaccinated. Along with following social distancing and hand sanitizers. We can stay ahead of the virus. Prevention is the best medicine. Last time the virus was ahead of us. Now we can beat the virus. What do you think about continuing the guidelines?

@db20747 Only thing you can do in this world is control what you do. Haha and that is sort of.

My missus and I still wear masks in public places and at school we still socially distance and sanitize. I worry that most people will ignore the guidance this time around due to crisis fatigue. I've heard a lot of people say that if they get it they get it and will just deal with it.

Very good idea to continue to follow the guidelines. If we follow them we can beat covid. People have seen what the results are when ignoring the guidelines. Hope they learn from this.

I don“t use masks at home but always when I go out. I try to keep social distance and I sanitize my hands. And I have been vaccinated with 4 doses.

I do not care of the new rules, my husband and I still wear masks in public places. I sanitize my hands and I try to keep distance. There is a new mutation 10% more contagious than Omicron right now.

@db20747 As they lifted some rules here, the number of new cases started to increase. I continue to wear my mask.

This is the way we can beat covid. I hope they don't lift all the rules too soon. We can stop omicron before it starts.

The virus story is my worst nightmare that I have dealt with in my 60 years of life here.

Absolutely. If the numbers go down that much in a couple of months , imagine where we'll be in just two more months.

I think people are going to do what they always have done, virus or not. We can't allow ourselves to live in fear. If you want to wear a mask in public, then go for it. If you don't, don't. At this point, people will have made their choices.

Can't get everybody to do everything all the time. But in crowds, no exceptions, in stores or buses. What they do will affect many others.

I don't understand either. If we've made all this progress in two months. Imagine , two more months.

China is having an upsurge in cases and so better to play it safe than think the worst is over and life is back to normal.

errr we had the second wave already ,It still makes sense to wear masks in doors with groups of of people around and on public transport etc , just because a goverment tells you its alright now doesnt really mean it is

I still wear a mask wherever I go and keep my distance from people. I also avoid going to crowded places. I believe that we should continue wearing masks. It's a great way to provide an extra defense against the virus even if we've been vaccinated. It doesn't hurt to be cautious, especially during the trying times
