Finally putting Pier Rat out there

For about ten years, I've been working on the next series in the River Dream realm. The name of the series is Pier Rat. It is the story of the youngest son of the main character, Michael Lanier, from the River Dream books.
The story begins with Sean, the Pier Rat, in the seventh grade and follows him through high school. The time frame of the first book is the 2008-2009 school year.
I have decided to debut it in episode form on Kindle Vella. Once each book has been fully released on KV, I will publish it in full for Kindle.
This decision has been a long time coming. The Pier Rat books will be published under my MG/YA pen name. The first episode goes live next Wednesday. The first three episodes will be free to read if you want to give them a look.

LOL! Pier Rat has been sitting ready in my files for nearly ten years. I just couldn't bring myself to let it go. If River Dream was my baby, then Pier Rat is my grandbaby. Letting it venture out into the public took a long time to come to terms with.

They'll be released on Kindle Vella first. That gives me a chance to isolate each chapter for final revisions and edits. Once the final chapter (Vella calls them episodes) is posted, I'll put the whole thing together as a Kindle book and it will then be available on Kindle Unlimited.
