Yoga !

Last week, a friend's friend came to town, she's a yoga expert, and he had this brilliant idea of doing yoga all together !! We went to his nice place, a house on the shore. She thought us so much stuff about yoga, and the basics. She even thought us how to hang like the picture.. Do you like yoga ?

I first took yoga class in my 30s (my instructor was also my dance teacher). Wow, I would think hanging upside down like that was advanced . . . I cannot open my hips as wide as that!

@Babino Well, I used to figure skate. So I thought I'd try dance to cross train - first ballet, jazz, then hip hop. Then I figured I'd try ballroom so I can understand ice dancing better. And somehow yoga came into the mix because I took all the other beginning dance classes .

@Babino Yes, years ago I could bend over backwards and walk on hands and feet that way.

@Babino Each yoga pose is called an asana. It is a Sanskrit word.
