Greenwood police officer rescues a driver injured in an auto accident

A driver whose gender and identity were not revealed to the public is grateful that a Greenwood Police officer who was on his way to work with the help of some Good Samaritans assisted Officer Ferterbaugh to rescue the driver who was trapped inside the auto in a swamp with the driver partially underwater after the auto landed on it side two days ago. The good part of this story is that some Good Samaritans assisted Officer Ferterbaugh by breaking the drivers window and getting the driver out of the auto alive and well. The auto crashed into the swamp on its side after it collided with another auto on the road during the daytime hours on Wednesday. The condition of the injured driver was not mentioned after the accident happened north of Greenwood Louisiana. It is nice to see Good Samaritans assisting the police in rescuing people in need since the police officers appreciate all the help that they can get these days,
