10 year old boy Bailey Doyle credits the Lafayette County Fire Department firefighters who visited the school where he attends to alert him as well as his classmates what to do in case the home where they live is on fire. Bailey put what the firefighters who came to his school to good use on Tuesday morning when the home that he shares with his parents in Oxford Mississippi suddenly caught fire on the outside of the home. Bailey who was of the home saw the smoke outside of his parents home as he rushed inside his parents home to first alert his grandparents who were inside visiting his parents to get them out of the home before the smoke detectors would alert them of a dangerous event. Thanks to the actions of Bailey to alert his relatives out of the house before a tragic event would happen, Bailey's relatives are safe and sound. The firefighters were able to put out the fire and they are thankful that the visit to Bailey's school to inform him and his fellow students what to do in case of a house fire paid off.

Wow! The programs that help educate children to know how to respond in an emergency are essential. So glad that he knew what to do,

I agree with you since Bailey did act on his knowledge that the firefighters taught him in school.
