When my daughter was a toddler(1972 or so)I moved us out to an old trailer in the middle of nowhere. My ex had threatened that he would come and steal our daughter and I would never see her again. This was after he had gotten me to go to a priest and try to get the priest to make me stay with him. I told the priest there was no chance(his physical abuse was too much) and the priest told him there was nothing more he could do. My ex became angry and hateful. The trailer was in a vacant area with a field on one side and a highway on the other. I had no car. My friend came to visit me about once a week and we would go to a drive-in or drive around. My mom came too. No one let him know where I was and he didn't come around. I would wash out my daughter's diapers and all of our clothes by hand and hang them out on a line. It was a nice time out by ourselves with us and the tv as our only entertainment.

I'm glad you got away from your ex and were safe and sound.
