"Man in the MIrror" was released in 1987. "Take a look at yourself and then make a change" sums up the meaning of the song. In the music video, this phrase was highlighted by showing images such as starving children, Hitler, the Ku Klux Klan, Martin Luther King, Jr., the Kent State shootings, Mahatma Ghandi and more. It shows the good and bad and what can happen if you don't "make the world a better place".
It was nominated for Record of the Year at the Grammys and was certified 3x Platinum.
It hit #1 and #2 on the US charts such as the US Billboard Hot 100 (#1).

Pretty good song. Not a favorite, but not one I’d go “meh” about, either.
