School teacher saves a 3rd grade student who was choking on a bottle cap

Janiece Jenkins who is a math teacher at East Orange Community Charter School in East Orange New Jersey is being praised as a savior after she saved the life on her 3rd grade student Robert who did not give out his last name when Robert tried to open a bottle of water using his hands at first. When his attempts of opening the water bottle failed, he made an error that almost cost him his life by trying to open the bottle with his teeth which sent the bottle cap down his throat while he was sitting on his desk. Robert then attempted to get the plastic bottle cap out of his mouth by running to the sink and he attempted to cough out the bottle cap but that failed. Then Robert ran from the sink and toward his teacher Janiece Jenkins who was sitting behind her desk. Janiece then used the Heimlich maneuver to get the plastic bottle cap out of Robert's mouth so he could breathe again. I am sure that the relatives of Robert are grateful that Janience was there to save her son from choking to death. I hope that Robert has learned his lesson not to open water bottles with his teeth ever again since he was lucky to have someone save his life.
