How Are You Celebrating Easter, Passover, and Ramadan?

If you’re celebrating Passover, Ramadan, Good Friday/Easter. Please Share Your Experiences. A joyous Passover, Ramadan Mubarak, and a very happy Easter. I am a Presbyterian (a type of Christian Protestant for those unfamiliar with Christianity) so today we observed Good Friday, or “Holy Friday” as my minister prefers to call it. We live-streamed two church services today; one from St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Kitchener, and the other from Knox Presbyterian church in Waterloo (next to Kitchener) where my husband and I are members. Both are cities in Ontario, but not cities in which we live. Anyway, St. Andrews was a much more formal, or “High Presbyterian” service, and Knox Waterloo still has its formalities, but is much more relaxed. I grew up High Presbyterian, but moved away from the church cause it was a bit too formal for me, although I still love everybody in it. Knox Waterloo reminds me of the middle ground between hiiiiigh Presbyterian, and the fiery churches of the Southern USA. The fire in our church isn’t Hellfire, the fire is EXCITEMENT. It’s a very peaceful church, but a free one just the same. St. Andrews was on TV, and Knox Waterloo was on YouTube. The pandemic has allowed my husband and I to worship where we feel comfortable, not worrying about geographical locations. We spent today just sitting around d here relaxing and listening to church services, and Sunday will be communion. We made sure to get bread and wine for the occasion. I love Presbyterians, because we can take communion virtually. My minister says any food and drink will work. It’s the thought that helps. It’s interesting to think they Jesus’s last supper was Passover, a time important for Jews, and this year Good Friday, Passover and Ramadan (a season on the Muslim calendar) all happen at once. Muslims entered Ramadan, as Christian’s were going through our season of Lent. I love that our three religions could all worship together. If any other faith is celebrating a Holy Day, please tell me about it, as well. How are others in the MyLot community experiencing this Holy Time? Please tell me yoor stories in the comments

Heard Sabat Mater by Bach yesterday in the local cathedral. Good consert. Have not driven to Sweden to buy things. Many do that for Easter. I don't get it, I can get milk today, so why panic 'cause the shops are closed again for two days? I really like a week with no shops open. I'm not religious, but enjoying the "can't go shopping"-week anyway.

It is "Stabat Mater" that means the Mother stayed.

I am Catholic and for us it was "Holy Friday". I spend this Easter time with my husband, as usual.
