Do you believe in the afterlife? If yes, or no, why?

I'm a Catholic and it has been ingrained in me that there's life after death in heaven or in hell. If you have been good, you go to heaven, if you've been bad, you go to hell. Now, that I'm older, I'm thinking that perhaps we may be reincarnated in another life form according to how we have lived our previous lives. So, the hell that they talked about is actually a life that you will live in despair, like an animal's? And heaven is actually living a better life than your previous. Correct me if I'm wrong but this is one belief of Buddhism? I'm more inclined now to believe the latter because it's more credible for me. What about you? what are your thoughts on life after death?

I study this every night as it is very important. I am also Catholic. I believe the word of God.

That's great. I remember going to church in Colorado to accompany my sister because we didn't have a local church in our area. The sect is not Catholic though, it is the Church of Christ.

I used to think about these things a lot when I was younger. Not anymore, because no matter how much you think about it, you will never know..

I often think that Heaven or Hell are here in this world. Some of us live a beautiful life, others live in Hell. May be we will reincarnate to live here a better life if we are good people.
