Deserted In Our Kitchen

Tonight, a roommate asked me to prepare her a double grill cheese burger. So, I did. Then, the other roommate wanted one. So, I did. When I started to prepare my own, they went on their Merry way and I had to have dinner alone. When growing up, I was accustomed to having dinner together. Photo by Myself of dinner

Did you live with family when growing up? Roommates aren't family.

Yes, I did grow up with family. As for roommates, we are like sisters.

I used to have dinner alone all the time when I worked. My husband worked different shifts and i worked different shifts We did that so no one else watched them but us.

We always ate dinner together too when I was young. My husband and I rarely eat meals together.

That's kind of sad. I like eating alone as well but, maybe you can talk to them about it. A meal together once in a while could be nice.
