Today was my day of the week to work at the boutique. I was looking forward to a busy day, like last Wednesday, but it was a very calm and laid back day. I had planned on having a Beauty Shot Collagen sampling and did have it there and available but we just didn't have the flow of people I needed to really make a difference. This is a liquid supplement that is packed with vitamins, protein, and other supplements that helps your bone and joints, internal organs, hair, skin and nails and also helps slow down the natural aging process. These shots are like the protein or energy shots that have become so popular. One of the owners popped in this afternoon to do photos with one of the models for the store. She was very curious about it. I told her it tastes real sweet and first but then the tartness kicks in and it is almost like a sweet and sour candy or gummy bears/worms candy. The beauty shot is a cranberry flavor. She took one taste and said, "You are right. It's sweet. Then she took another sip and I asked her if it had kicked in. She laughed and said, "YES!" Then she chugged the rest of the shot down. She said it tasted a lot different than what she expected. I had to agree with her because I expected it to be thick and creamy and it was not.
