Walking on green grass in the morning enhances eyesight.

Pramod residency in Cuttack, Orissa maintains very good green lawn. Boarders walk on the green grass bare foot in the morning. Walking in the grass bare foot in the morning develops the eyesight. People love to use the green grass and also the soft grasses create comfort for the palm of the feet.

I can see where it's pleasant to walk barefoot on the grass but I've never heard that it can enhance the eyes. That sounds far-fetched to me

@MarshaMusselman thanks Marsha the green grass acts as acupuncture for pressure points related to the toes of the feet. they are connected with nerves connected with eyes. so if the nerves are activated the eyes are also activated

thanks Marsha the veins connected to eyes are there at the base of the two toes of the feet. More pressure on them connects the veins of eyes

Can you explain the physiology? As a psychology professor, I know that "yellowish green" is the color (wavelength) that our eyes (cones) perceive most readily in the daylight. That is why firetrucks are "tuning" green.

thanks Horse There is a pressure point on our feet which is believed to be connected to the nerves of our eye. Walking barefoot in the morning on grass can stimulate this pressure point and help improve your overall eyesight. In addition, looking at the green color of the grass soothes the eyes

@sathviksouvik Can you cite some research? I am interested in vision as mine declines. My night vision is the worst.

I found this hard to believe until I read your responses to The Horse. It's an interesting theory.

thanks Judy if you go for full body spa you will find the spa therapist applying oil on the toes of the feet because the nerves related to eyes brain and other parts are connected. The better the nerves are activated the better the organs can function. The green grass act as pressure points on the toes and feet and thereby activate the nerves connecting the eyes
