Has anyone have a dog escape but then make their way back home after a few days? Our 17 year old blind dog has been missing for 24 hours after pushing a board loose from the fence. She was only gone for 15-20 minutes before we started searching and were shocked to not find her. We put blankets out on the porch that smell like her and us, hoping the scent will help her get back home. Her info is on all the local lost dog pages and tomorrow I will be putting up flyers. I miss my Channi puppy!

Oh no! I hope somebody finds her and bring her back home. Is it possible that she was taken by a stranger and brought to an animal shelter? Hope she's ok and would find her way back home very soon.

It’s possible. All the animal controls here have a shared database of dogs they take in daily. So I will be looking each day to see if her profile pops up.

Hope you find her soon. My neighbour's dog disappeared from the his garden, but I think it is a case of dognapping. There are some terrible people out there

I am so, so, so sorry. I hope she has a tag on her. We lost our dog for 24 hours; and he came back. It's a shame that she's blind. I hope she finds her way back. Sending prayers.
