This story is very odd since it is not every day that an abandoned mobile home was located on the middle of a gravel road in Labette County in Kansas which attracted the attention of Labette County Sheriff Darren Eichberger as well as his officers who went on social media to ask the public for help in finding who is the owner of the mobile home is. The incident which happened round April 7th attracted the attention of readers of Facebook who came up with ideas like it was related to the weather to a possible crime scene scenario. This story came to a good end when the owner of the mobile home trailer contacted the Labette County Sheriff's Office officials that his mobile home had tire trouble and that he had to leave it on a gravel road when he was moving his mobile home to Oklahoma at the time of the incident. The owner of the mobile home was able to find replacement tires to put on his mobile home and remove the abandoned trailer from the gravel road to its destination. Problem solved with a happy ending since I am sure the deputies who work at the sheriff's office did not have to solve a criminal case this time.

@Deepizzaguy I’m sure he was happy to find it still sitting there.

I'm glad the owner purchased new tires. It looks like it was damaged in the haul.

The damage to the mobile home looked bad.

I'm surprised there wasn't a serial number somewhere on the frame the officers could have used to track down the owner. Good that he turned up and solved the mystery for them.

You have a good point there about the serial number.

It's good the owner came forward or the abandoned mobile home might have remained a mystery for some time - or else it would have seemed to disappear altogether!

You are right since I am sure that the owner of the mobile home would have been disappointed if the mobile home was taken away by someone other than the police to be torn down or something.

I can see where the tire problem could cause lots of problems.

I know what you mean about flat tires a lot when I used to drive autos in my past. Thank goodness my relatives now do the driving these days.
