Craig and I went on a cycling ride yesterday. We had breakfast by the sea. When we got to that place, there were these two guys who smiled at me. Of course I knew them and I'd never forget one particular cycling childhood memory with them involved.
Ever since I was a kid, I was really into cycling. But I had a bmx then and not a racer bike. Me and my best friend (cousin) would take turns with the bike as she didn't own one. One time we were enjoying the humps and we fell off our bike. Then we heard two boys laughing at us. Guess who?
Yep, them! That's why I'd never forget their faces, nor their names. And I'm sure that incident is something that they hadn't forgotten as well. When they left the restaurant, I told my son the story.

Oh yes because I was really embarrassed when I was a kid when they laughed at us.

So, were you actually friends with them, or did you only remember them because of that one incident when you were a child?

Nope. We were never friends. We didn't even talk when we were kids and hardly greet each other when we cross each other's paths in our hometown. But since we were in a different town that day, and it's been years since we saw each other, we greeted each other and had a small chat.
