How promptly do you respond to business emails? / myLot

Currently looking for work, and have a phone-meeting with someone tomorrow at 10 AM we were emailing back and forth all afternoon, while doing our other daily duties. She was rather impressed that I responded to each email within 10-60 minutes, and I commended her on doing the same. We know emails aren’t instant, but we returned them promptly. I mentioned that I check my phone once an hour. How promptly do you respond to business emails?

I check my emails many times a day even now that I am retired. When I worked, I received notifications when I received an email, I checked immediately and I replied within 15 minutes.

I try to answer emails quickly during my time at work.

It depends on what I'm doing and if it'll interfere or anything. If I can respond quickly, I will. If not, then well, it gets replied to when it gets replied to. Depends on how important it is.

As soon as I get the notification on my phone. App is open all the time So instantly I suppose
