The Choices We Make on Movie Night

Do you ever wonder what makes you choose the type of shows/movies you watch? What makes you like the type of show you decide on? Which super-hero do you choose? Which actors do you enjoy?
I am beginning to watch La Femme Nikita again. It is a Canadian action-drama first shown in TV series form from 1997 until 2001. An adaption of the 1990 Luc Besson film, Nikita. It is now out on DVD. It is basically about a homeless gal that is wrongly accused of murder and thought dead and she is picked up by the secret service and taught to be an agent for Section One.
I usually choose a show/movie with a strong female lead but not always. If I like the male actor I will watch a good adventure, or heavy revenge films really get my attention. Justice is always a factor in the films I choose.

Haven't watched any of those. I go in for the old vintage ones or thrillers.

@celticeagle I see very few movies that I like and I actually like to see something that’s light and fun. I don’t care for anything serious. I night be ready to watch something serious one day. Right now I’m watching Step Brothers and mylotting.

I tried watching Downtown abbey. It relaxes and intrigues me But thats about lately been down and not in the mood for anything

I enjoyed that series. I get in the mood to watch something at times and can't find what I want. But, when I have recorded a few vintage ones on my DVR from TCM I always have a good one to watch. And usually, a good Warner Bros. to be had.

I just usually watch things that catch my fancy..I like mainly psychological thrillers.
