Loaded of Rude Students Online

I am so overloaded with rude students yesterday night. One particular boy stood up among them who tends to be so rude. The weird thing is he is asking me random questions, which he should not be. I let him do it for the sake of knowing the right way of asking. All of a sudden, he shouted at me because the answer is not what he is expecting. Student: What is your favorite food in your country? Me: There is no particular food that I like the most. I just like eating all the Filipino dishes. Student: You are not answering my question. Me: That's my answer and you cannot change that. Student: No, you are not answering it, blah blah blah! The ending part is he gave me a bad evaluation, which I do not mind at all. He seems so frustrated for not answering him back. I am sorry that I cannot give in to what he wanted. I hope it would not be like it later at night again. Image Credit: alldigitalschool.com

I cannot understand why student are allowed to be so rude. The principal should deal with such rudeness.

Unfortunately, this Chinese company is not into controlling them. As for them, "Business is a business." The virtual teachers need to treat them like Kings and Queens. Not me, I am a quite rebellious soul.

@Shavkat You know in England we were taught French in school. France is across the water and I'm never likely to go there. I am likely to go to Wales which is actually attatched to England (and I have actually done so), so to me it would have been more reasonable to teach us Welsh in school!

If I found a rude student, I would file a report to the university. Or at least to my supervisor since I am a teaching assistant. Nobody wanted to get stomped by teenagers or any young people, or even anyone.

I wish I could do that. For online tutorial classes, it is not possible. That's the downside of working in a Chinese company.

Never thought that you would have to encounter those kinds of students and they are just plain rude. I hope that the school you represent would also take action to explain to them that you are right and they should respect that.

you had experience having rude students before. I feel sorry for them, they're the ones ruining their future not you. I mean it's hard enough not to have face to face classes already.
