Good morning!

Every time I pass buy a group of cyclist, I always greet them with a good morning. And they always respond with a good morning ma'am as well. Road courtesy is well observed among cyclists. and I really like that. This morning Craig and I went on a route that I had never been before. It was a total of 60km with some climb. It wasn't really exhausting. Craig told me those hills were just humps! Gradient isn't that much compared to the route we usually take on a weekend. Nevertheless, it was a good ride. Of course I didn't forget to apply sunblock. I'm getting darker and darker but I don't really mind. I just don't like how uneven it is.

When I walk I always greet other walkers with a good morning and they always respond with a good morning. No matter how long I stay under the sun I do not tan. I get lobster like, I peel, at most a get a little colour that I cannot call tan.

If I don't apply sunscreen I turn red and I peel. And I don't like that at all.

@toniganzon I always apply sunscreen, but my skin is fair, Mom was a bit darker, she tanned well. I am like my father, fair skin, dark blonde hair, green eyes.

Yes, uneven tanning can be a concern. My husband and I go for cycling very early in the morning and mostly we are done by the time sun gets hot.

do you cycle as far as 60km? We leave home early but we come back late. Sometimes we cycle for 120km.

@toniganzon Not that much. But yes we do 40 kms or a little more both to and fro. We go for cycling mostly on weekends and we start as early as 5 AM or a little before that.

@arunima25 We only leave at 5am if we have to cycle for 120km so avoiding the sun is still impossible. That's why I always apply sunscreen and carry one to reapply. We normally don't cycle for just 40km. It's too short for us.

Exercise is good for you. You are also getting good medicine from the sun. They call it super natural vitamin D. It cannot be bought or found in a bottle. So enjoy.

I would have thought that you would have had a natural tan, being Filipino and all. I seem to have a natural tan from spending practically my entire life on the beach, although I still do get an uneven tan if I'm out in the sun with my shirt or hat on. I try when I can to work on evening it out, but it doesn't always work out that way. Right now, the back of my neck and my arms are much darker than the rest of my body.

Yes, I like getting tanned actually but I just don't like how uneven it is. I normally would get a tan wearing my swimsuit. I get more evenly tanned that way.

I can see a tan line on your arm. We went for a quick little walk last Sunday and I forgot to apply sunscreen. It was the first nice day, and I got a sunburn on my arms. I take a medication which makes me sensitive to sunlight, so I have to be extra careful.

Oh no. Please don't forget to always wear a sunscreen. I always apply one on my face every single day even if I don't go out or be under the sun. But I apply a heavy duty one when I need to be outdoors like swimming or cycling coz I can be under the sun for hours.
