My Girl Friend lost her cat

It’s not so easy to know what to say when a friend or family member loses a pet. For my girl, her cat Billa was a part of the family and was incredibly special to her, and his passing away definitely had a deep effect on the entire family. Billa wasn't a tamed/domestic pet till a year ago. Shelley, my girlfriend, just accepted him warmly when he just walked in one fine day and has been living with them since then.....He was a healthy cat till a month back, but all of a sudden he fell ill and never recovered from it. Taking him to the vet also proved futile. I still wonder what went wrong and how a healthy cat passed away.... All I can say Shelley “Heaven is filled with love, so your Billa should feel right at home there. You gave him such a wonderful home on Earth. RIP Billa. Lots of love to you”

Animals aren't much different from humans. Only animals, cats in particular, do a good job hiding it. So that's something to consider, too.

@kaylachan yeah.... It's sad that even the Vet couldn't diagnose him...I guess cats have life of 15-18years if am not mistaken.

My sincere condolences. And yes, it's hard to find the right words when it's a friend's pet or someone closer than a friends' pet, too. I've been hearing bad things about the weather in India and have been worrying about you. I hope you and your family are all doing okay. How is the job? Everything still going okay? I miss seeing you on myLot but understand that family and jobs come first.

DE thank you sooooooooooo much for your kind words. Yes you are right, the weather is extreme...but thank God, we all are fine....DE am over stressed with my job... To much too handle.... Just imagine am the only guy in my department (Purchase) handling everything for 768 room twin property, there is no one to assist me... It's been 9 months now, I can't take the pressure anymore... I feel like quitting. Pray that I get some better job.

@S4mmyboy You're welcome, of course... You were so happy when you got that job after being without for so long... Being the only person in a department is always bad. Nobody to help and nobody can step in when the job becomes too much. I hope you find whatever type of job you'd love. No job is ideal. One that pays the bills and leaves some money over that in your pocket each month without draining the love of life out of you is the best that most people can hope for... (I'm still not looking for a job. Pretty and I are living on savings and trying to avoid people. Covid is still running rampant in the US. We've both had the vaccinations and booster. June will be the second booster shot. But the virus has changed so the shots aren't doing a lot of good now. *shrug* Staying away from people is the best thing now.) We're moving into Spring weather here. Cold nights and warm days. (A few nights ago it was 0C and then it was 26C the next afternoon.) Our flowerbed is sprouting and the trees are finally growing new leaves. We've planted garden plants in pots on our front porch and are enjoying watching them grow...

@DaddyEvil thank you so much... Here in our country, everything is back to normal, people aren't wearing masks anymore, trains are jam-packed as it it used to be pre-covid times..... Business have also been to normal..... But it's only the salary part which isn't normal .... Employers are trying to get things done with minimum staff as much as they can.... Am sure you enjoy the spring.....shoild have shared some pics of your porch.
