These are the toys I have been crocheting these two weeks. I never crochet such big dolls before. Usually when I just choose to make those tiny toys as it's faster to make and my kids enjoy playing with them as well. There is also a small honey pot, and I am waiting to make a bear and bee soon. I have found these crochet along events with a few cute doll patterns, so I just gave it a try. It's really fun making them as I have learned some new techniques, though I have developed some blisters on my fingers. Besides crocheting, as usual, I have been planning and looking for lessons to teach my children, not only academic subjects, but also life skills. I am also working on my programming project. It seems to be a never-ending project. Hope May will be a good month for everyone! Is there any project in your work in progress pool now? Picture: The 4 crochet projects I am currently working on...

They're so adorable! Never ending parenting job enjoyable, but, never ending. I've no children.

Thanks! Yes, it's never ending, once the responsibility was being picked up, it's for life time. It's enjoyable, but also struggling and challenging. It's forever learning lesson too. I always think when I have learned about parenting, my kids might have grown up and moved out from the house.

You forgot to give the dolls faces! How are they supposed to eat? Nothing new going on here. I hope you're finding fun stuff for you and the kids.

That's why it's called "work in progress". I always add the facial expression the last, as it's one of my least favorite things to do. Crocheting is fun, sewing (assembling the parts) is tedious, and adding the facial expression might ruin the whole thing. I am still not good at adding the facial expression. Status update: All three dolls were born with eyes and mouth - for them to see and eat, but no nose.

What are you doing in your programming project? I am a programmer by profession so I am feeling curious.

That was really nice! It's been ages since I crochet myself.
