Did/Do You have any Mother's Day traditions?

Growing up I know we picked red roses to wear to honor having a living mother. My family would go with Mom and Dad to a local green house or nursery to let Mom pick out some live plants.
Hubby says when they lived in Michigan they would all go on a drive. Never knew where you were going until you got there. In Rhode Island they were expected to go to Grandma's house for Sunday dinners.
My kids did not/do not have any traditions for me. One year my first husband bought matching, fancy Mother's Day cards from both him and the kids.
My current husband, who does not have kids with me took me to a special lunch, because he knows sometimes I feel down and forgotten.
So, tell me what you do, if anything.

Mothers are important for family, kids and their fathers . A day must be dedicated to them.
