Found a teriyaki sauce that is really good on many foods, especially noodles. WalMart has it online. I use my gift cards and it is delivered free. The best way to shop. Asian fusion has become very popular in the last ten years, and with that popularity came a surge in the use of Asian condiments: soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, etc. I recently read that one of the more popular condiments is teriyaki sauce. It is sweet, thick and rich and goes well with meat, noodles and sea foods. What you might know is the word Teriyaki describes a cooking method, where food is grilled and is glazed with sauce several times. This sauce used in Teriyaki is called "tare," a mixture of honey or sugar, sake, and soy sauce. Teriyaki sauce is made without sake and has other ingredients such as garlic, brown sugar, fruit juices like orange or pineapple. I found that interesting. And I enjoy this sauce on many dishes, mostly noodles. A good way to spruce up your meal. I only use a small amount, due to the sodium, but a small amount goes a long way. Photo is mine.
