Covid19: I'm Feeling Better

United States
May 6, 2022 3:03pm CST
I came down with Covid19 last Friday, exactly 1 week ago today. First I had chills and body aches and tiredness. Then when those were disappearing I came down with a head cold. And feeling weak, no energy, had to sit down and lie down a lot. Yesterday I thought I was 75% better. Had more energy. Today the cold is almost gone, but I feel weak again. Eh, I think a couple more days and I will be back to normal again. I am glad I got it and hopefully built up antibodies so I won't get Covid again. And yes, I was vaccinated and have had 1 booster shot. Did you get Covid19? If so, how was your experience with it?

@Kouponkaren If you do not feel to do something around the house, don't. The house can wait, your health is more important.

@LadyDuck I think the tiredness will come and go. I didn't feel tired like I wanted to take a nap, but more like weak and I had no energy to do anything around the house. That was actually kind of nice to have an excuse to not do anything around the house!

Glad you are feeling better - yah, I heard it takes a while to get over it but good that you are getting there. Back before it was officially a pandemic, I had this really weird cold/flu and it was the worst I ever felt. It was just before any of us knew what covid was . . . I never got tested, I guess I'll never know.

@Kouponkaren They are saying even if you had it, we can still catch the other variants . So we're still playing it safe. Are you feeling completely better now?

I had COVID 19 around March 2020, It was terrible not being able to get out of bed or o basic tasks like walking to pick up the mail and life any objects. I was cured about a month later when my doctor gave me an inhaler and medicine.

@Deppizzaguy I am glad I was vaccinated then because mine was definitely not that debilitating. You had it early on, before the vaccinations came out. I am glad you were able to recover.

@thedevilinme Yes, I am glad I didn't get it when it first came out. With my asthma, I might have been done for.

I had Covid-19 in August, before I was vaccinated unfortunately discovered I may have been exposed again, and I was due for my booster this month...

I know people who have had it. All they got was a bad annoying head cold. I never did and I am not vaccinated.

@kaylachan Yikes, I hope you don't get it. I had aches, chills AND that annoying head cold, plus felt pretty weak some days. And I was vaccinated. I hope you don't get it as it could be much worse.
