Clearing the Air

I wake up each morning having a nose full of sludge and my head is congested. I know that the head congestion is due to allergies but, the sludge in my nose is another matter. I want to get an air purifier. It would be so nice to have clear air in here for a change. But, now I wonder.....what type of air purifier? One of those that sits in the corner and makes a little buzzing noise. I would need one upstairs and one downstairs. Any good brands you have had experience with?

If it weren't so hard for me to get up, I'd pull out Consumer Reports and check brands for you.

That'd be nice. I would be interested in a good brand.

@celticeagle This site should be pretty reliable (It's a .org):
OK hubs brought me the Consumers Buyers Guide. These are pretty expensive:
1. Blueair Classic 605
2. Blueair Blue Pure 211+
3. Honeywell HPA 300
The others go down in rating pretty quickly. I hope this helps.

I have never had an air purifier, Perhaps I might need one now. Here in Florida to be comfortable when the temperatures go up high you need to keep the A/C going, However I have never been a person who like being in A/C air with no chance of opening windows, So everyday my eyes tears and my nose drips but there is nothing I can do, The tropical heat is coming soon also and throughout the summer.

I think you are having allergic side effects.
