Remember in the 50s and 60s when women stayed at home and took care of the home while the men were the breadwinners? The Bureau of Labor Statistics does calculations of wages for jobs. Think about the amount of jobs mothers who work only in the home do. It's a long list and a very challenging job. The medium area for a probable salary for a mother who stays at home nowadays would be around $184,820. The stay-at-home mother works on average about 106 hours per week. That's 15 hours a day 7 days a week.
Happy Mother's Day!

I was a stay at home mom in those days but fortunally had the help of a wonderful woman, María, the lady that invited me yesterday to her home. I think that if it hadn´t been for her I would have ended in an insane´s asillum. With her help I could finish my studies and have a good life.

Yes, I think they should. Or the men should.

People, especially husbands, don't appreciate the job/s that women do around the house.

No, they take them for granted. I think if they had to do them they might feel differently.
