A very strange story of five bears living underneath a home in California

What I know about the habits of bears is that they take naps during the winter before they wake up in the spring after they enjoyed their rest period.
I could imagine the reaction of the homeowner when he or she heard noises underneath the crawl space in a home in Lake Tahoe California around April 20 when they saw a mama bear making noises as she woke up from her nap.
The homeowner managed to call the not for profit group called the Bear League who takes care of bears to make sure that they do not get harmed by humans.
The officials of the Bear League managed to evict the mom bear from the home where she was sleeping.
The officials then found out that the mom bear had given birth to three cubs and she adopted another cub to join her family when they were able to leave their former home to go into their outdoor home. No harm and no foul dealing with the bears.
Next to snakes, gators and goats, I would not want to live in a home where bears are around in my neighborhood.

That is true since bears are not animals I want to mess around with.

I know that they are harmless and useful to eat grass in a field but I would not have one as a pet.

@Deepizzaguy It seems that we are taking the space the animals used to have.

No bears are not anything like the Yogi Bear cartoon character at all.

I have seen the behavior of animals when they want to get away from cold weather areas.

I heard about this but I didn't remember about the cubs! I'm glad they were able to relocate her without harm.

I agree with you that no one was harmed when the bears and the cubs were released from their former home.

You are right about animals losing their homes in the outdoors.

I'll take a goat any day!! That's enough to make your head spin!! I've seen stray cats, but a bear! I would scream my head off!! Thank goodness they were able to peacefully shoo them on. Sometimes animals like living like people with all the amenities.

I know that goats are great pets since they are good at eating grass and garbage in a field but I could not afford to keep one as a pet.
