Election in the Philippines

Im done casting my vote for today. It is our election day now in the Philippines. Many Filipinos like me is looking forward for this day because we will vote for our new President . I was with my brother earlier this morning going to our voting precinct. Everything went well until I finished voting. Our current President declared today as a holiday . So this day will be a mini family get together. How about voting in your country? Are there practices being done whenever voting day comes? p.s. poll watchers put ink on our nails as a sign that a person already finished voting.

We vote in two weeks time so all the politicians are campaigning madly trying to win votes.

It was easy over here. Except it was a bit hot probably I couldn't afford to leave my chair too busy shading.

Done with it too. There was delay in our place but after two hours waiting I was able to get through and it just happened very fast once we were able to enter the polling center.
