Morning tea, pleasant weather, soothing chanting

Good morning from this side of the planet. It's 8:34 AM here and I sit here in my balcony enjoying the fresh morning breeze and my hot cup of tea 
. The morning mantra chanting is on in the background and so is the chirping of the birds.. There are not much out of their nest as it's a light drizzle outside.
I never take tea without a company, but today I am enjoying it. Husband was getting late to work and he carried his in the carry mug to sip it on the way. This is the first time to have my tea alone and I am enjoying it
I am back to my regular waking up time at 5. I was a bit off track in the last two weeks as the vacation mode set in. Did some 20 minutes of pranayam ( breathing exercises) and finished few chores. Packed lunch for my husband and that means no more cooking till lunch
. Just will make some hot rice later for daughters and myself.
Would like to go for a walk after breakfast with my younger daughter. We made a plan last night. Hopefully the drizzle will stop by then. Right now both my daughters are sleeping. They sleep till 9 if they don't have school . Anyway they study late night. They are owls unlike me
I plan to sort two cupboards today and just take out and keep things aside for donations, some ironing and maybe some art. I have not decided any. I might go exploring online for more ideas.
And ofcourse mylotting every now and then.

Have a good night sleep. It's no more drizzle. It's light showers now. So, guess we have to cancel the walking plan. Maybe in the evening we can.

It's nice that you got to enjoy your morning tea on your balcony. The weather hasn't been warm enough yet for me to enjoy my morning coffee outside.
Hope the rain subsides so you and your daughter can go for your walk.
Sounds like you have a busy day ahead. I'm trying to catch up here as well as getting some things done around the house. I have cupboards that need organizing but my procrastinating keeps them from getting done

@arunima25 I feel the same way about the sorting and organizing. If my body could keep up with all the things my brain thinks of I would be like the energizer bunny.
We had a week of that drizzling rain last week which really and literally put a damper on things.

I found the alone tea time awesome. I might do it more now.
The rain didn't stop. It's in fact going on till today. Not heavy showers but constant drizzling and light showers. So all our outdoors exercising plans stay cancelled. We are enjoying indoors.
I have become an expert at procrastination . I started the cleaning and sorting yesterday. But after two drawers and two shelves, I lost interest and left the rest. I hope to finish it today. Though I am not feeling motivated to do it

Tea alone can be a beautiful thing "Tea for One" is a "Led Zeppelin" song and this topic made me think of it. I am happy you got to do some of that breathe exercise before chores. Good luck with sorting things

@FayeHazel I totally agree. Especially we as moms and wives are so busy with our duties and our work, these alone times become a luxury. We should get them more often.

Sounds good! My day, shopping, was sunny, so left to get my free covid home test kit...we get 4 boxes of 2 test in a box, a month free from Medicare. Got a few food items and lovely tulips so only $7 for a dozen. Walmart done.
Ross Dept. Store has Senior Discount day today, so I got Lakanto Monk fruit sweetener, PH water and my Senior Discount.
Going to repot 2 plants, my red ti leaf and my little jade plant, at least I believe it's a jade plant. Daiso had plastic pots, I saw a customer buying one day. Today, I looked for them, just right size for my plants, so got them. Now all I need is a small Pkg of potting soil. Just as I stepped out of the store which is very near to bus stop, saw my bus, yippee!! Went to Taco Bell for my takeout dinner. Good day for me too.

I see. I don't know where ours are from. I usually pay 9.99 for a dozen at Safeway. So when I saw it at, Walmart, got a price check, only $7 for a dozen!! Got them.

Wow!! You were on a shopping trip today and you got a lot for good reasonable price. Sounds perfect . And happy that you got bus right in time.
Those tulips are so beautiful . I would love to have them anytime here. Tulips are very expensive here as they are mostly imported from other countries.

Thank you. I am trying to make the best of the day. The drizzle has changed to light showers. So, the walking plan stays cancelled. Let's see if we can do that in the evening.

thanks Arunimaji it is great to know that the weather is enchanting. In northern India like Delhi temperature has crossed 48 degree so there is heat wave in the place. Bengaluru must be pleasant

Delhi is burning. My brother says that the heat is intolerable there. Bangalore has been reported to be the coldest city in India in the month of April and May. It was even cooler than the hill stations of North India.

It's a perfect weather to stay indoors and enjoy doing things. I was just looking for some crochet project online that my younger daughter could do. I plan to start the cupboard sorting in a while after lunch.

On a serious note, that might be the case and can not be denied. More and more people in this time are becoming night owls and going against the natural rhythms of their body.
My daughters have a good routine when there is school. They wake up around 5:30. But when it's holiday or study leave, my elder one likes to study in the peace of the night.
