That was to hide a nasty scar on her forehead, which she received in a serious car wreck in 1961. After she recovered she reportedly told a friend, “I’ve survived two accidents. The third one’s either gonna be a charm, or it’s gonna kill me.” On March 5, 1963, her words came true. She was only 30. I can’t say much about the song, because it’s Patsy. So enjoy.
