I finally did it!

I had planned to post this, this morning, but never got around to it. So, I'm going to now before I forget.
A little backstory. I play Pokemon go, and have been playing since July of 2016, when it came out. Pokemon go is a game that encourages you to get out and get moving to interact with parts of the game in real-world locations such as Pokestops and gyms.
As I said, I've been playing the game for a few years now. At some point in 2016, they introduced research tasks, and one of them was to locate Mew, the ledgedanry Pokemon. Due to restrictions and insaccessibility, it took me years to complete many of the tasks. But, today, I managed to make my final goal. And I caught mew. I am very happy with that.

It started to die down when the pandemic hit, and people were being discouraged from going outside. But, now people are encouraged to go out again.

I haven't played Pokemon go in a while , but I still remember the days I used to stop near the temples and churches to spin the pokestops hahaha@kaylachan (57710)

Yeah, Niantic seems to like "holy" places. Almost all the stops are churches or places a of worship. At least where I live. The only reason living faith isn't, is because it's also a school. fun.

Such an interesting game. I played this around 2016 or 2017. I went out to search for pokemons. I have checked in to many places. It was addicting at some point but I stopped playing when my phone got broken. When I got a new phone, I did not install the game anymore.

My kids and a friend play that but I've never checked it out. Congrats on making your goal.
