Choosing Reality Over Fake And Drama

Was going through some old photos yesterday. Found this one that I have never seen before. My Dad back in the day. This may have been an old Army photo, not sure. I love the old photos how they had the scalloped edges. And they were real photos. Nothing digital back then.
These days it seems not much is real. Bots everywhere. Nothing you see or read can you believe any more. Supporting wars, sending billions (probably trillions now) of dollars to other countries, while our own go hungry. Drugs are rampant. Overdoses not being addressed. Allowing drug cartels, criminals, murderers, child sex offenders, etc. etc. to flow into our country.
The government is providing them with all of the necessary things they might need. Money, free rides, a place to stay, food, etc. While our country is falling apart. I could go on but I will not. Does no good. Rant over. Going to check on the baby birds. Three nests are almost ready to fledge. They also have fresh water to enjoy.
I will continue enjoying the sunsets, birds, flowers and my cats. Much less drama in my yard for sure. Even with the downed roses yesterday and a dead baby bird found in the yard, it is still nature and it is real. I choose that.
Also, missing my Dad every day. He was a handsome dude back in the day.
Photo is mine.

What a great old photo.
Old photos are really the very best of all.
I am all about less or no drama, there is really no need for it.
Remember the fun that your Dad enjoyed, his laughter and his kidding around. I hope that lightens your heart today.

He was indeed handsome.
I have also a lot to rant about my country but it only stresses me out. A lot of stupidity in this world. And sometimes educating them isn't enough.

I've stopped watching the news--always opens with the latest mass killing at a school or mall---a parent killing their kids-- people randomly killing people they don't know, etc. In nature, killing is for survival---in humans for sport!!!! ARGH!!
